It's hard to tell, but there are little white polka dots on the black ribbing. It's cute, just not shown on any picture I found. The shape of the parasol is exactly the look I wanted - very French and vintage looking. It's built a little cheaply - you can tell by the when trying to use the open/close button, but for display/decorative purposes, it's going to be perfect. The staff at OpenTip were helpful in trying to save me money with my purchase - so that was very nice.

I purchased the umbrella for use in a costume. It served its purpose and then some--but didn't hold up as a real life umbrella. Great for a few uses (like a wedding--or a few conventions; if you're good to it!)

Beautiful umbrella but in the picture it has Black trim but it is really black with stars on it. I was a little disappointed but still a great buy..

Looks just a like the pic. The latch doesn't seem very sturdy but so far so good! Super cute!

It isn't pure black like the picture shows, it has a bunch of white polkadots everywhere along the seams and stuff. If you need it for a cosplay don't get it :u Otherwise it's a great little parasol!
