Good for working in the garden at dark time. The green light does not encourage photosynthesis. Good for the times when you forgot to do something in the grow tent.

The last one of these I bought lasted 9 years of running nearly continuously in an uninsulated garage, through temperatures ranging from 0F to over 100F. I love this bulb, it barely uses any electricity, puts out just the right amount of even, richly colored light, and I'll buy another one next decade, too.

I have this with a blue and green cfl of the same wattage in a fixture. The green and blue wash out the red, but not too much. Overall a good bulb.

I put them on my porch to show I support Law Enforcementone bulb will last over 6 months and I leave it on 24-7well worth the money
