Bought it for the boyfriend's bday, got the 2 quart one, it was to replace his old one that had a sidewall bust, he's been loving it, says it works great for his work water bottle (hes a mechanic, so he runs hot and dehydrated).

The container hold a good amount of water, which is good when on a hike. . The materials it’s made it of is not worth the price paid. After the second day of use the strap ripped. The way this was designed is horrible. Not comfortable to carry nor is it durable. Not satisfied with this purchase. I’d advise you continue looking.

I bought this to use at school to get my students reactions It worked for that purpose. It also served the main purpose of holding water well, and it kept it cold for most of the day. It feels a little more flimsy than I would have thought. I am not sure how well it would work for a backpacking excursions. I do a lot of backpacking, and I would not take this with me. The strap is too small for a larger man. It does fit my kids. It will make for a cool addition to my mantel in my lodge room though.

I bought this to carry with me on my walks. I had a quintuple Bypass and have to walk for heart health......it gets real hot in Oklahoma in the summer months and needed a way to carry water.... this is a great way......only big downfall was the carrying strap being short. I had to sew on a extension so a adult could carry over the shoulder.....it may be flimsy but it's water.

Within 3 seconds of unboxing this thing I new I had made a mistake. The shoulder strap is ridiculously short and the canteen feels fragile. This is a cheap plastic bottle wrapped in thin fabric and very thin sheet metal. The best use of this thing is as a costume prop. Yes, it looks functional for the short term, but I don't expect this to survive more than 2 or 3 camping trips.
