This is Skimlite's Stainless Steel Leaf Rake with 16 inch fine mesh pocket. The frame is constructed of a combination of 304 stainless steel and plated spring steel and then fabricated to a solid aluminum handle. The replaceable leafing edge is good for loosening leaves stuck on the bottom of the pool. And the fine mesh net is excellent quality for gathering leaves and other debris.The protective vinyl coating and leafing edge are replaceable. For this series, replacements are done at the factory.In 1954, Skimlite created their first stainless steel and plated spring steel skimmers and rakes. They were the first lightweight skimmers designed for the pool industry. This patented design is still available today in their Stainless Steel Series. These original leaf skimmers and rakes are made to provide many years of use for commercial and residential pool applications.
