Love them. I purchased one for myself, as an old school Dr Who fan from long ago, and my young sons loved them so much I purchased one for each of them. Keep in mind, my youngest son was 16 months old when he got this for Christmas. He got excited and it was the one present he wanted opened right then and there to play with. 3 months later, it still looks and functions like brand new. Not too bad since a toddler is playing with it!

My grandson is a HUGE Dr Who fan. In fact he's named after David Tennant. His name is Tennant so good thing he loves the show and that the 10th doctor is his favorite!!

The reason for 4 stars is each time you turn it on, you get one of three sounds. The reason it's not 3 stars is they rotate correctly and you can hit it twice to get to the proper Sonic sound. This did make completing my forth doctor outfit just right. I would NOT let kids play with this, it's made alright, and adults won't break it. Kids would tear this up quick. So while it's a 34;Toy34;, it's for grown up kids, not the smaller ones.

This is going to be great for comic con. I was using it all over the house. Turning on and off electronics. Opening and closing doors. It doesn't work on wood though. Weird. (This is not an actual remote for anything. It looks cool and makes sounds. I love it.)

Older school sonic. Makes one of two different sounds when you push down the top half of the unit. Not quite as well made as the newer ones but still a must have. Included photo with other models so you can see how it compares. Got mine for around $11. Nice introductory sonic.
