my kid didn't like it, very repetitive activities, way too much tracing and nothing creative

A is for airplane, ape, arrow, apple. A nightmare if you are trying to actually teach a kindergarten child phonetics. A little logic when it comes to organization of these things would improve the product. Activities are colorful but not as engaging as they could be. It's essentially busy work with little to offer.
