I feel a lot better having this in my girls closet. The only reason I am reading it 4 instead of 5 stars is because it is a bit heavy for a kids ladder. I wish they could make it out of lighter material because I think in the case of a real fire, my 7 yr old would have a hard time Getting this set up out their window. I definitely think it's still worth buying and having foreign emergency. Our room is next-door so if this was ever needed, I would hope that I would be available to help get it set up.

Great to have in your home or apartment for safety just in case you ever need it!! Compacts well for storage under a bed or beside a dresser amp; ready for use instantly! Safety when u truly need it!!

we have one of these in each of our upstairs bedrooms. It helps to know we have this in case of emergency. Thankfully we have not had to use it yet but instructions are clear, ladder is sturdy and appears to be quite user friendly which is important when you are in a panic.

Our house is on pillars and we have only 1 door so we got this just in case and hope never to need it. I lost one home to fire and I pray to God I never have to deal with it again.

This was a stress reliever when we bought the house we're currently in. Our kids were young and their bedrooms were on the second floor. It gave me peace of mind to know that I had a way for them to exit the house in the event of a fire. The product is very durable and Fire Safety approved. Definitely recommend. Be sure to install it properly to avoid the possibility of unnecessary injury.

Provides peace of mind because my main exit is on the neighbors side of my house. They use(make?) drugs. My emergency exit is on the opposite side, thankfully I have not needed it but I did test it. It works.

for upstair windows in case of fire when you can not go down the stairs from the Bedrooms. give peace of mind. Only has to work once. fit the windows just fine.
