I make my own bread and have had a difficult time finding yeast in the stores for over a year now. I took a chance and ordered this and am glad I did! My bread rises quickly and have never had any trouble with ordering it either cold or hot months it always works!

I've only used all star before and wanted to try saf yeast this timeand I'm glad I did cause it works well and really love the cute drawing in front :)

Bought 2 one pound packages of SAF instant yeast. the yeast did not raise in the bread. I have been baking bread at home over 2 years. SO the problem is not with my bread . It is with the yeast. Normally my bread with proof within 1 hour. With this yeast the bread Did NOT proof after 2 hours. Don't buy this product. tried both boxes same results.

This is the best yeast for breads, pizza, rolls, etc. I wouldn't use anything else. Store in a mason jar in freezer and it even lasts me a year!
