Looks a lot cheaper close up than it does in the picture, but otherwise it's great for any fairy/witch costume. I bought it to go with my tinkerbell costume and it was a bit bigger than I expected, but still went well with it. Overall not a bad purchase and a lot cheaper than what you would get at any Harry Potter store that I've been to.

This very low cost wand gave my daughter what she needed to finish off her costume for a Harry Potter themed birthday party. The wand is plastic and all one color, and it looks very pale, so we went over the vines with a dark green sharpie and colored the leaves with a lighter green. This really improved the appearance of the wand. Compared to the more substantial replica-type wands sold for a lot of money, for a few dollars, this one worked just fine for our purposes. If you have a serious HP fan, this isn¡¯t the wand for you. But if you want something to look fun w/ a costume for an amateur wizard, you can¡¯t beat this one.

This wand is low-tech plastic, but it works great for the make-believe wizard. Inexpensive and durable.

My daughter loves this wand! However, it is, essentially, a hollow plastic tube. I am waiting for it to "dent" with a particularly forceful spell. That being said, the costume would not be complete without the wand.

This wand is super fun!! It was the perfect addition to the deluxe robe and economy tie. The wand is made of a thick plastic. It was a bit bigger than I thought, but this made it easy to hold for small hands. The details are great, they look just like Hermione's wand. I know we will have endless hours of magical fun!

We ordered this wand to go with my daughter's Hermione costume for Halloween. She loved it, and so did all of her friends. They had a great time "casting" spells with it, and recreating some of the scenes from the Harry Potters books/movies.

The wand is a good quality product. The only thing is, is that its seems a bit big. But for the price its a good buy!

In the picture, the wand seems little and intricately detailed but it is about a foot in length and kind of thick. The design is good for littler kids who would have trouble gripping a skinny wand. My daughter really loves it (she's 7). She plays with it all the time with friends. It was definitely a worthwhile purchase.

I bought this wand in addition to the HP light up wand--my daughter likes them both very much-- while this one does not have light and sound, it is actually preferable when your child wants to play along while watching the movie as the sound effects are pretty sensitive in the light-up/sound wand-- this one is nice if junior also happens to fall asleep with the wand in bed as it will not wake them up when he/she roles on it (not that anything like that has ever happened in our house!)
