Bought to finish up a Vietnam era display, and was not planning on using, so didn't care for the reviews that said the shovel broke, however, I decided to take it on a recent camping trip to see if it would hold up, and it did. Was able to dig several small holes. Probably wouldn't survive digging a trench or foxhole, but are these cheap repro tools really made with that use in mind? I don't think so!
