I bought this so that it's large enough to put on with a ponytail and it worked out great. Functional and nice looking. I found one at REI that I loved but it was $95. That hat was sturdier and the brim was stiff enough so that you could shape it. This hat is lighter weight and the brim is softer BUT, it's every bit as good looking and functional. I almost think the more expensive one would be too warm on a hot day. This is a good buy!

The hat was rolled up like a tight fat sausage, was very wrinkled as a result, and the brim was bent throughout.

I took this hat and a hat the same size American. Not comparable. Size chart is bogus. You would expect the Chinese to steal the correct American size chart. Disappointing. I'm a Veteran. This hat is not US military quality.

Love the hat. Keeps the sun off my face and ears. A wider brim may block more sum, but that would make me look like a moron. This hat is like the I wore 50 years ago.

Wpre almost the exact same one while on active duty. Primarily worn whem walking the dogs or cutting the grass.Great for keeping yhe sun put of your eyes and off of your neck.

I love it! This hat fits like one I'd been issued before the Iraq war in 2004. It is comfortable and good headgear for time in the sun. It comes from the same company that my first utility uniform in the Marines.
