It does just what I wanted it for. It is well built - feels heavy duty. I would highly recommend it.

Mixer works by combining audio from different sources. Volume is loud. However, there's a major flaw - there's a loud buzzing noise in most of the level settings. I am able to find a setting that minimizes the buzzing, but that pretty much eliminates the use of the level adjusters.

Works super well. I currently use it to listen to podcasts on my phone and/or computer while playing video games (PS4). I run the optical out to a converter and then into the minimix. Works great!!!

This thing performs very well. Granted, I just came from a 34;rolls MX44S Mini Mix IV 1/4 and 1/8 Mixer34; (which I returned), and that thing sucked. This unit does what the last unit did not: it works. There isn't any big distortion or noise when mixing two channels. I can turn the volume up pretty high with no discernible distortion. I have not yet tested mixing 3 or 4 channels together, but two works well so far. The only reason I didn't give this device five stars is one quirk: when the two channels you are mixing are not set to the exact same volume level, a small amount of noise/hissing is introduced. I don't think this is super noticable when there is actual sound being played by one of the signals, but when the inputs are silent, the hissing is noticeable. When they are set to the same volume, there is no noise and it is perfectly silent. This is independent of the actual volume level you are using - they just need to be at the same level. This doesn't affect my usage, since I keep them at the same volume level. I will do some more testing and possibly update this review.

The mechanical build quality looks solid. The manual includes a circuit schematic for those who are curious or have a critical eye. Sound quality is good, no audible noise is introduced by the unit. I didn't try out the XLR input or the phantom power, just the RCA's. Runs on 15V, adapter included. The power indicator LED on the front is kind of annoying, as it is on if the unit is plugged in. Easy to cover with black tape. This is the best and simplest solution for the job, at this price point.

This is a great little mixer, and it does exactly what it was designed to do. It has three stereo inputs with RCA connectors (one input has both RCA and 3.5mm 1/8 inch stereo jacks) and one XLR input with switchable on/off phantom power, for a total of four inputs. I don't like the phantom power switch design, because it's not really a switch. It's a jumper that requires extra care to change, a pain in the neck if you need to turn it off and on, and comes with phantom turned on. I just left it on. The output is both RCA and 3.5mm 1/8 inch stereo, and the signal is clean. All level controls have a detent position at zero gain. And another bonus is that it's made in USA. I would recommend this little guy.

Not much gain control with the RCA inputs, but I'm pleased with it. Pretty solidly built.

My father has an older (but great sounding) Bose Wave Radio with minimal input flexibility. Hooked up this mini mixer to the Bose Wave Radio via its 'red and white' RCA audio jack input. The Wave Radio now provides stereo sound from: 1) TV 2) Older generation I Pod 3) Bluetooth receiver Solid quality. 5 minutes to hook up. Perfect for what we needed. For $55 and some inexpensive cables it resurrected the old Bose Wave Radio into a single, functional, multi-purpose speaker for 3 separate devices. Sounds great. 5 stars

This gadget is perfect for mixing several different sources like iPhones, TVs, and Alexa and more all into your main audio / stereo system. Works WAY better than cheaper Y-connectors, etc. -- R Carlson MD

Using this for monitoring a live performance with a single keyboard. I tired of hauling in an amp for monitoring when everything was connected via XLR bus to the house anyway. I now use a small condenser mic to mix the rest of the players in, blending the signal with that from the keyboard monitoring jacks output in my direct box. I'm using a Nady direct box with stereo inputs and stereo monitoring outputs. Plenty of amplification and a true stereo signal from my synth. With a solid pair of earbuds plugged into the MX, it is an ideal situation, much better than a mono Aviom box unless you require a click track. The MX51S seems well made and noiseless with plenty of signal coming through at a fraction of the weight of an amp. I can see other situations where this product would fill a need.

I bought this to combine PS3 audio with the DAC from my computer so I could play the PS3 at my computer desk and be able to use two headphones (on separate amps) for both sources. I don't detect any loss of fidelity unless I turn the knobs past the notch at 12 o'clock, but that is so loud that it doesn't really matter. Very solid build and it does exactly as intended. UPDATE: I've integrated my PS4. Everything is still great really love this thing.
