Vine Customer Review of Free Product The line diameter when using these pens is not any different from your average dry-erase marker (1/8 across), I was expecting them to be a bit thinner, but no big deal for me. They write well, even on a board that's covered in finger grease, which many other dry-erase pens have trouble with. The clear reservoir lets you see at a glance roughly how much ink is left, which is nice. The cap, as you can see in the picture, is flared to make gripping it and pulling it off the pen easier. 5-stars for quality, but it loses a star for not really being fine tip.

Vine Customer Review of Free Product They work as described and are easy to use. My only complaint is that I find they start writing thicker almost immediately after you begin the use them. So fine point becomes , and medium becomes thick right away.

Vine Customer Review of Free Product This set works great and no strong smell. Fun to draw with and can't hardly keep them away from the rest of the household. Good for teaching, good for entertaining kids and keeping them busy.

Vine Customer Review of Free Product These are wonderful. They don't smell like the typical white board erase markers. The tips works well, no streaks or missing color, and are a good weight. Easy to use, no headaches for this Spanish Teacher. Highly recommend. I like the cover size, too. Easy to find and grip.

Vine Customer Review of Free Product I'm the type who can't express a complex idea without the help of a white board, and so I go through a lot of markers. Out of all the ones I've tried, the Quartet's are generally my favorite...the tip is wide - but not too wide - and they erase easily without being as strong smelling as other brands. The colors are vibrant and readable, and they tend to last quite a long time, even if you leave the cap off the way I sometimes do.Definitely worth a try.

Vine Customer Review of Free Product I gave these to my husband who is a teacher. He has been using them for several weeks and has been very happy with them so far. They write smoothly in bright, vibrant colors. The shape of the pen is easy to hold. And he has not had trouble erasing them. He recommend the 3M whiteboard erasers.

Vine Customer Review of Free Product I've tried a few different brands of dry-erase markers over the years, and I like these the best. They write well, the tip glides easily, and they erase reasonably well with a white board eraser. (I occasionally clean my white board off with a baby wipe, which works great.) I like the finer point on these, and the colors are bright and vibrant.

Vine Customer Review of Free Product I like the Quartet dry-erase markers, and these are similar to previous markers from the company. The caps keep them from rolling off the table, and their smaller size makes them feel more like pens and less like kindergarten-sized markers. These are labeled as fine-tip markers, but they have finer points than fine-tip markers from the same company purchased a few years ago. The same seems to be happening to other reviewers here, so it seems like there is some variability in the product. For the record, I prefer the thicker ones, as these new ones are too fine for my taste. The resulting line is too light to be seen well from a distance.Depending on your needs and preferences, though, these markers are great overall for their intended purpose. It would be nice if there wasn't the unpredictability in the product line.

Vine Customer Review of Free Product I taught college for years so I'm somewhat of an expert on white board pens and these are really, really good pens. They aren't as aromatic as most white board pens and the have good coverage. The ink flows very nicely and leaves a very solid line. The fine tip is good for white boards in your home, an office, or a small board room, but they might be too thin for a classroom or large conference room.In my small home office I have a wall-sized white board that I use for mapping out ideas. Since I'm the only one who sees what I've written and never from a distance, these fine point pens are perfect.

Vine Customer Review of Free Product We use three out of the four markers right now, and will use the other once one of those runs out. We have two whiteboards on our fridge--a calendar and one general notepad--and I have a larger one in my office which I use to take notes for my writing.I prefer the fine tip because I have tiny handwriting as it is, and it leaves me with far more space to use on the board. The price is right too.I would make these better by having an eraser on the cap of each marker, but that would probably raise the price. All in all, a good set of whiteboard markers.

Vine Customer Review of Free Product I've previously used markers from another manufacturer that just happened to be what was available to me via the department/organizational logistics team. Those work well enough, though I would note some of them tended to be more permanent in nature than they should have been. They were actually dry-erase, but if left on the white board they just didn't erase that well typically requiring me to pull out the miracle spray cleaner to get the ink off the board.I've not had the time to really see how erasable these markers really are, but I will hopefully come back later and update that information once some additional time has passed.Smell wise, I would note that these were certainly less irritating to get a whiff of compared to the competing products. Definitely a smell there, just less offensive.

Vine Customer Review of Free Product Classic problem: marker stops writing because you're writing high on a white board, so that the tip is the highest part of the marker.Solution? 3 pressurized chambers to deliver consistent ink flow! But wait - did the marker stop working because of gravity or because it's out of ink?Solution? See-through ink gauge on the marker barrel so you know how much ink is left! Now where did that marker go? Oh it rolled off the darn table.Solution? An Anti-roll cap that keeps your marker where you left it!Seriously, I jest with all the exclamation marks, but they really did make a better widget here. You'd think you couldn't do much to differentiate a dry-erase marker, but with these features - and steady bold colors - why would you go for the usual? These are great.

Vine Customer Review of Free Product Wonderful, vibrant collection of colors (plus two black markers in the chisel tip set). The Quartet EnduraGlide Chisel Tip Dry-Erase Markers are perfect for our use, as we often color code to provide visual cues for our more visually oriented thinkers. I'm not sure we needed ten different colors for this purpose, but we can keep rotating colors in and out to keep things as lively as they can be when working on a white board to help teach social skills and elementary math skills. These markers come in two tip sizes- fine (a little thicker barrel than a Sharpie fine point marker) and thicker, chisel point (barrel is around the thickness of the larger washable markers children use). Both are a good size for writing as neatly as one can on a dry erase board -thick enough that larger hands will be comfortable but thin enough to offer adequate control.I like that they have an ink window, so I can be assured that the marker isn't going to be dead in the water when I bust it out to scribble some knowledge on our board. These are not intended for use on black/dark dry erase surfaces and are not visible on the surface I tested. These do have a fantastic opacity, not quite that of those chalk/cafe markers, but more than I am used to which makes graphics and text stand out against the white board, more than usual and the colors don't fade into dullness as they dry. They are also easily erasable. These do have an odor, but not too much and it fades quickly. I have a very sensitive sense of smell, and these were not detectable to me, once they were dry.

Vine Customer Review of Free Product Much nicer than even the other quartet markers I reviewed. I also like that they are slim as I was never a fan of the fatter markers.

Vine Customer Review of Free Product These are nice for what they are. The marker tips aren't too thick, which is what I wanted, and the colors are vibrant enough to be seen clearly. I've only had them for a couple weeks, so I can't say how long they last, but I am happy with them so far. My only gripe is that I didn't receive five pens; I only received four. Otherwise, though, I'm satisfied with the product.

Vine Customer Review of Free Product I really have no point of comparison when it comes to whiteboard markers. The only thing I know I dislike is the strong odor most of them seem to have. These, thankfully, did not have that. They write in bright vibrant colors and I love the see-through marker so you know when the ink has run dry. Brilliant. The tips are a little fatter than Id prefer for writing notes, but the angle of the tip makes it easy for me to alternate between coloring a silly picture for the family and writing dinner instructions.Ive only ever used markers provided to me by whiteboard owners (my sons school, work, etc.) so I have no way of knowing if the price of these is comparable, Im a first time whiteboard and dry erase marker owner. They go on bright, wipe off clean and easy. Thats what I wanted and what I got. Im happy.Cherise Everhard,April 2014
