Corrected the threads on my old head bolts (which I ended up replacing anyway). This made my threads buttery smooth again and if the head bolts were something I felt comfortable reusing, this would be a must have and especially because it was an odd size to find. If I ever need to remove my ARP Head bolts, I will definitely use this to check those threads.

Item arrived rusted. Wire brush removed rust and finish on about 15% of the surface. Oiled to prevent further rust. Item kept as used infrequently.

Worked good for me until I misplaced it. May buy another. Used to Chase M14 x 1.5 threads and saved a bunch of parts. It seems like some reviewers are using as a threading tool. I do not think this die is designed to cut threads, but rather to chase or fix bad threads. I could

Fit was correct on my M14 1.5. It helped me fix the threads on my lug bolts after I almost ruined a couple of them. During the job I broke one of the teeth off the back end of the die, but it was because I was threading it on backwards.
