The Pyle PDKM7 drum kit microphone package includes every mic that you need to capture a precise drum kit sound. With four small drum mics, great for snares and toms, as well as a big drum mic and two condensers, the package comes with all you need to start recording drums. The Pyle PDKM7 provides all you need to mic a drum set, or other musical instruments. Capture the crisp snap of the snare, full body of the toms, thick thumps of the kick, and presence of the kit with the overhead condenser mics. Each microphone has a specific design to capture the sound produced by the instrument. The big drum mic, meant for kicks or other bass instruments, picks up the low end punch of lower frequencies. The small drum mics, designed for snares and toms, produce full, crisp detail. Specializing in capturing sensitive and flat response of instruments such as cymbals, pianos, and vocals, the condenser microphones provide excellent clarity.
The microphones fit the standard thread 3/8" or 5/8" mic stands. Included in the package are universal drum mounts that can be attached to most drum rims. Each mic has standard XLR (female) connectors. The condenser microphones do require 48V phantom power to operate. The kit contains 1 big drum mic, 4 small drum mics, 2 condenser mics, 4 thread inserts (3/8" and 5/8"), 4 3/8" threads, 4 clamps for snare and tom mics, 2 windscreens for the condenser mics, and a lightweight, durable carrying case to protect the mics.
