Had to try several. This one far and away the highest quality. Love it!! Solid harness built right in. My dog seems so comfortable. On sizing, my 16 pound chihuahua/corgi fit a LARGE perfectly. So relieved I found this.

This Puppia Mountaineer coat, size small, fit a 3.5-pound Yorkie, Ollie very well. The built in harness is very handy. The fleece adds a layer of warmth. When Ollie sniffs the ground the backside of the jacket does lift in the air. The back of the jacket is not tight-fitting. Ollie seems comfortable in this jacket/ harness. Make sure you take the proper measurements for the best fit.

I have had this fabulous coat for 4 years and it is still as perfect as it was on day one. I wash it, periodically, in the washing machine and let it air dry. I have a 12.5lb Shih Tzu and the Large fits him perfectly. He is a thin build. I have to be a little more mindful when his hair gets long so I don't zip it in at the neck. It does have a zipper fabric guard which is very helpful. Be careful when you unzip if your boys tails is fluffy. The harness is great and adjustable. If you allow your little man to run around in the yard without a leash, as I do, the "D" rings for the leash clip will clack, clack on the plastic harness clip. It doesn't bother me our my pup. If you have a dog who hates any sounds, it may take some getting used to it. It doesn't happen while on leash. If the coat gets damp, small dogs get their belly and chest wet when they are in wet grass or snow, it drys quickly. The brown coat always looks clean. I'm thinking of buying another, just in case this one ever wears out. The sizing is small dog sizing. Make sure to measure and look at the measurements. I bought the correct size on first try unlike some other reviewers.

Absolutely a great buy on a great looking coat. Lot of jealous dogs at the Green Space, let me tell you!

You get what you pay for, top name brand winter jackets, to keep my dogs warm on walks this winter.

This is a beautifully made jacket for the winter months. The fleece lining keeps my yorkie nice and warm. It's also really convenient with the built in harness. This jacket runs extremely small though. I ordered a medium for my 6 pound yorkie and it fit perfect.
