I use this item a lot around the putting green. I have a shag bag that hold about 75 golf balls that I have used in the past but I seldom chip that many balls at once. After about 2 dozen chips, there are too many balls on the green blocking the hole so I would stop and start over so this holds the right amount for me.Easily picks up the balls without too much grass clippings. It does have a little metal spring on the bottom which probably wont last forever but for the price if I get a couple years out of it, i will be happy.The only suggestion I might make is to make the top a screw on cap rather than permanent fixed.

Talked to a guy at the practice range about his. He loved it and I ordered one online on the spot. I had a larger shag bag with a canvas zippered bag Heavy and a hassle to get the balls out.This is light weight, convenient to pick up balls and simple to push the release on the ground or with your fingers to dispense the balls. It is convenient in that I can slide it in the umbrella pouch in my bag for trips to the range. Great product and great price.

Thin, plastic-spring holder, that holds the balls ups, broke after just a couple uses but was able to tie and duck tape it down. Only paid $20 so didn't have the bar set too high. Probably worth spending the extra money to get the metal versions.

Works ok but has some issues picking up the last 5-10 balls in the grass. Definitely not the quality of a metal golf course practice area.
