This is a great remote steering system use it on salt and fresh water. After a year and a half of hard use had a issue with electric motor,called service while at work service manager gave me his cell phone number so he could help me with issue. Well seems it needs a new motor no hassle no problem send in old motor get a replacement. If you want a great remote steering system from a company who stands behind their products you could do no betterAlso a shout out to Garmin another great company.

Simple install with little outside the box thinking. Not mentioned in manufacturers instructions, removed Yamaha 9.9 brake system for better linkage alignment. Off set rod center for additional stroke for port turns not equal with STB. Set throttle and troll all day.

We bought this back in May and only took it out on the water two times, since then it had rust and WILL NOT WORK. There is not an option to return this item, but how can make sure IT WILL work without longer terms! DO NOT BUY THIS! We lost $900 because of faulty equipment.THIS PERSON JUST CHARGED MY CARD AGAI! AND NO WAY TO CONTACT THEM!
