Self fusing silicone tape is the most versatile and easy-to-use emergency repair product.

Self-fusing tape chemically bonds to itself creating a water-tight seal to whatever it's wrapped around. It's not like electrical tape that becomes gooey in hot temperatures. This self-fusing tape withstands temperatures up 500° F which makes it great for automotive repairs around the engine compartment, under the dash, and in the trunk. Repair wiring insulation, radiator hoses, and vacuum tubes just to name a few.
It has an infinite number of uses around the house too. This tape fixes leaking pipes and hoses to rewrapping worn-out rubber handles on sporting equipment. It seals out moisture for outdoor cable and speaker connections. Just stretch and wrap the self-fusing tape around the needed area to fix or protect. Then stretch and wrap again over each side of the first wrap. The tape will bond to the area being wrapped and to itself creating an air-tight/water-tight seal.
