During the pre-dynastic period, Egyptian potters clearly relished creating all manner of intriguingly shaped platters, bowls and pitchers. Many of these ceramic items were based on animals. Here we have a small offering bowl with human shaped feet. This unique bowl which dates back to the transition from the first to the second Naqada period seems to been inspired by the hieroglyph for \'bringing\'. It leans forward as if offering its contents. It was probably used as an offering bowl at a sanctuary or in a tomb. The replica reproduces some damage or chips on the feet as existing on the ancient original. Measures 2 1/4 in H x 3 1/4 in W x 3 1/4 in D. Weighs 7 oz. 10401539 8718375750162 0.8500lbs 0.00 0.00 0.00

Exactly as pictured, and came in a cute little box with an info sheet about the original artifact. The size was listed in the title and description, so I wasn't surprised when it was small; I'm not sure if they added that after other customers complained, but it was there when I made my purchase, so I'm happy.

Keep in mind that this bowl is tiny, the size of a palm. Although super cute and good quality. Any history buff would love this.
