So happy this product performed as advertised! It was purchased for a 98 yr old friend who was having difficulty hearing on her old cordless phone. She doesn't use a hearing aid so I can't comment on that feature. As with any new item there was a bit of a learning curve but she was able to pick it up pretty quickly. She's thrilled she can now hear her family and friends.

My 79-year-old mom cannot hear and refuses hearing aids. We struggle to talk to each other. I bought this phone for her and she procrastinated for months plugging it in. I happened to call her yesterday and was shocked when she picked up on the second ring. We had an hour long conversation where we laughed and exchanged stories, something we could not do for years! She said she could hear the phone ringing for the first time. She could also hear me properly. If you want to talk to your loved one, buy them this phone. It's a real gift!

With it on speaker with Boost engaged I can actually have a conversation without my hearing aids in. With the hearing aids I don't need to put it on speaker. Voices still don't sound normal but at my age what should I expect? I also have the compatible individual handset. Couldn't get them in the same color but they're in different rooms so who cares? Didn't rate the Lock Feature cause I don't know what they are talking about.

Bought the phone for my elderly parents. Numbers are big which make dialing a breeze. Volume can be increased or decreased . Phone works very nicely.

Panasonic quality cordless in a simple format with larger numbers for persons with vision and cognitive challenges. Instead of complex menu sequences, this phone offers simple, bold easy to see options with dedicated buttons for messages, stored phone numbers for important persons. Vision prone persons are afraid to call the wrong number. this helps including the voice promted identification of the person calling ( with caller ID working ). This is a good solution

I bought this phone for my parents because their old phone wasn't working anymore and the new one they bought was crap. I wanted a phone that you could listen to the answering machine while people leave a message, this fit the bill. When the phone rings, it announces who is calling, the buttons are big, and it's easy to see when you have messages on the answering machine. You can also adjust the volume/tone on the phone so that you can hear better if you wear hearing aids. This was the perfect phone for my folks, I'd have it in my home if we had a landline.

Bought these phones for my grandma who is hard of hearing. She can actually hear more and it's not even on the highest setting! It took a little bit to figure out the pairing the additional phones but we got it. I would recommend this phone after looking at 100s of reviews trying to find one that was easy to use and could be turned up for a hard of hearing grandma!

My friend is elderly and has had vision and hearing issues for years, which have become markedly worse the past 2 years. She can barely hear a regular phone if it's on speaker phone held up to her good ear, and can't see to dial it without a flashlight and magnifying glass. She can't drive, lives alone, and has mobility issues so even going out for a haircut has been such an ordeal for her she just isn't going anywhere, so the phone is her only connection to the world. Now I can call her without raising my voice or talking very slowly the whole call (the SLOW button must have been made specifically for people like me, lol). When I connected it I went in the back of her apt and called her, and had her go through the boost (loved it!) and told her I was going to talk very fast and as soon as she couldn't understand me hit SLOW - she did and was grinning from ear to ear when she realized she could now understand every word. I left without programming her numbers in as it was close to nap time and she was just too tired to do anything else- within a day she had programmed all her numbers herself (she said it was fairly easy to figure out, even without reading the instructions). The ringer is loud enough to hear it, and she can hear the name of the caller announced, which is a great feature, if she's in the kitchen she won't rush into the living room in case it's her Dr calling. I would give this 10 stars if I could, it has given her a much better quality of life and I highly recommend it to anyone with vision OR hearing issues (or anyone trying to help someone that has those issues). I found phones for vision, or phones for hearing, but Panasonic seems to be the only company that realizes these issues frequently come about the same time in life. Perfect phone for her (I choose white, because I felt like the buttons would be easier to see).

I love that the phone is for seniors with hearing disabilities. We can now hear see it flashing when it rings.Love the caller ID.
