Wow can you get a wide spread with this and a .66 needle and tip. I used this in application with duracoat for my firearms and works perfect!

I ordered this for my Paasche TS and wound up getting better results with the kit supplied size 3 cap setup. This fan cap now sits unused in my studio. I am disappointed that the TS is marketed as capable of creating a fan pattern by using this fan cap. It is not designed to spray a fan pattern. It is designed first and foremost to be an airbrush that paints small areas. This can catch novice airbrush users off guard- thinking that they are getting the best of both worlds (detail ability, and large fan pattern capability). Don't get me wrong, this fan cap will give you a fan pattern, but it is going to create a lot of overspray. Forcing the TS to spray fan causes poor atomization, resulting in 50 of your paint not attaching to the surface. I would encourage customers to research the difference between a mini spray gun airbrush, and a standard airbrush. Simply adding a larger spray needle/head and cap is not going to create an optimal fan pattern. Airbrushes that are designed to cover large areas have differently designed heads, which direct airflow in a way that atomizes paint differently to minimize overspray.
