I bought this needle to replace the .38 that came with my Paasche Talon. I have used this solely for priming and painting Warhammer miniatures.Installing it was easy. You can find diagrams online if needed, but the pieces you need to remove unscrew pretty much as expected in the front and the rear of the airbrush. I lost the special wrench to remove the top, but I was able to use an adjustable wrench to do the job just fine. I was just careful to be gentle, as to not scratch or damage anything. As to the performance, it has done well. I have had very few issues with clogging. The spray pattern is in general noticeably more fine than the larger needle's spray pattern. Of course, distance, pressure, etc can also affect the spray you get.The issue I have with this (if anything) is that I noticed that the finer needle wasn't particularly helpful with the bulk of the airbrushing I did. If anything, the .38 needle I had before made priming and basecoating models slightly more convenient. Sometimes you do want to paint with a bit of a broad brush. Broad this is not.All in all, it's a good product. It arrived in pristine shape, installed easily, and has performed even somewhat better than I had hoped. The reason that this is four and not five stars is that it is not a cheap part (nor a terribly expensive one) and it is more of a good additional option rather than a strict upgrade if you are using a different needle size.
