I teach preschool and am a big fan of the Popular Playthings mix-and-match and magnetic vehicle sets (if you haven't tried these-they are awesome). I was curious about how my preschoolers would do with the Magville sets, but THEY WERE HITS! Kids loved them-there were many variations built. Like other Popular Playthings products, the magnets are strong and work well and that lets kids focus on building and not trying to make the magnets work. Highly recommended. A bit pricey, but worth it
