All of the steal has gaps between the wood The wood has a poor polish and feels rough The large flipper was missing a nut And another lost a nut during first use Tongs are tight and don't release well

This is a very nice grill utensil set. It is made with stainless steel and a nice quality bamboo wood that is not only beautiful in its finishing but durable and made to last. This set of 4 includes a large spatula, tongs, grilling fork, and a sauce brush. My favorite of this set is the large width of the spatula, and the tongs have ergonomic handles. Each utensil of this set comes with a hanging loop on the handle enabling it to be hung for easy access and the tongs are made to lock in position. This quality is made to last, I would say the only thing that was missing was a storage bag. I give it an A rating

This tool set came packaged very well and is very giftable. PROS - Each tool is large which is very useful when you're grilling - Long handle so you're not right up close to the heat - Good collection of basic tools you'll need while bbqing - Decent quality; beautiful wooden handles CONS - The way the bamboo handles are connected to the stainless steel gives it just a little tiny of a wobble which is why I think this set is a 4/5 stars Overall, a beautiful set of large functional tools. Great to have for a grilling fan.

First, what I like about this set. For the price, it's a pretty good deal. It's thick stainless steel, so it doesn't bend when you're lifting food with it (especially important for the tongs, because "cheap' tongs bend when you grab food with them - and these don't). So that's great. I got the bamboo set, and bamboo is relatively weather resistant. Couple this with the stainless steel, and you're unlikely to have anything go wrong with them, even if exposed to the elements for a while. These are all great traits. But I have to drop what should have been an obvious 5 star rating to only 4 stars. One thing that really bothered me is that the bamboo, right out of the box, has many parts of it 'shredding' off the edges of it. This leaves a good chance of getting splinters, and it doesn't feel good. It's a correctable problem, I'll need to break off all the loose pieces and lightly sand where they crack...but it's not something you should have to do for a $50 (as of when writing this review) set of BBQ tools.

Hello my fellow BBQ enthusiasts! Today I am reviewing Outset Grande Stainless Steel Grill Tool Set. The set consists of the large flipper/spatula, bbq tongs, grilling fork, and a silicon sauce brush. I ordered my set with Bamboo wood handles. I was super surprised at how big the hamburger spatula is .. this can handle even the largest burgers. the burger head is 5in x5.5 in. As an added bonus there is even a bottle opener built in. The bamboo handles on the flipper, tongs and forks are extremely high quality with stainless rivets. The silicon brush handle is just all stainless steel. The tongs have a heavy duty spring and has a pull lock to keep them closed. The Fork is nice and solid perfect for pick up and turning that 32oz porterhouse. This set is extremely well built, quality stainless steel, and sustainable farmed bamboo. I think this makes a great gift for yourself or the bbq lover. Highly recommended.

Really like the presentation and build. The wood itself is a bit lightweight, but the metal is proper heavy duty and rather long for those more accustomed to kitchen-sized utensils. Even the brush takes some getting used to. But for me, the biggest plus quickly became the metallic loops at the end of each piece that allowed me to hang them from the end of my grill. I've had to drill holes in some from my previous set and attach carabiners to serve the same purpose, but these are much better. Not sure I can recommend them to people with small hands, but if you've used sizeable tools like these before, the feel is about the same. Just don't go trying to swat wasps with them unless they're tethered to your wrist. All I'll say is that I let my friend near my grill last year and ended up with a shattered window. Yeah, heavy tools are nothing to shake a stick at. lol

This is a very well made, very quality set of grilling utensils. When they say large, they mean it! That spatula is 5" wide. The tongs have an excellent retainer thingy on the end that keeps them closed, and all have hooks to hang off the side of a BBQ.

This set of 4 includes a large spatula, tongs, grilling fork, and a sauce brush. My favorite of this set is the large width of the spatula, and the tongs have ergonomic handles.
