The Robinair worked great. It's a pretty quiet unit compared to others, and works quickly. I hope it serves me for years to come. It's also very compact . I remember my first recovery unit, which felt like it weighed 50 lbs. and was a lot bigger than this one. These machines have come a long way over the years.

Recovered 5ton system with accumulator in less than 20mins also small enough to fit in larger milwaukee packout/klein modbox toolbox

Perfect for my use and recovers refrigerant quickly. I've only used it to recover R404a and R134a. Just change filter driers when changing refrigerants and purge it with a little nitrogen after each use.
