Good little heater that puts out a decent amount of heat. Keeps my 10 person tent fairly comfortable, which is exactly what I want it to do. Two things keep it was 5 stars: because there's no way to regulate the amount of heat she puts out, it's easy to blow through a 1 lb can of propane. Second, the base unit is flimsy plastic. I had to build a sturdier base.

Lucky if it ignites at all, and if it does it will go out with the slightest of movement. Have 3 other Mr Heater units that are great, different model numbers - this seems very much like a fake. Press and hold pilot for 30-60 seconds at perfect level, and after 5 minutes or so it might fire up. If touched or adjusted in any way it will shut off- good luck starting again. Mr Heater brand you can buy, just buy a different model- you're welcome.

Took this on an off the grid back packing trip. Warmed up the inside of our tent within minutes.Love the feature where it will automatically shut off if tipped over.Wish it had a dial to adjust the heat though. It got too hot in the tent and we had to turn it off for a while.

Perfect for what we needed it for. Small/medium tent camping with 32 degree nights. I slept better knowing the safety features were in place. It was still a little cold even in addition to cold weather sleeping bags but we knew what we were getting into. It made the cold much more tolerable. Happy with this purchase and looking forward to more winter camping in the future.

Over Christmas, we had -8' and no power for 20 hours in western NC. Several of my neighbors had their well pumps freeze and crack. I placed the heater in our pump house which is approximately 40 sq ft. It has some insulation. Kept our pump and filters warm. I used 2 qt propane bottles in 20 hrs. The heater is very simple to use and operate. I got my neighbor one also, after her pump was replaced.

Works great for preheating the cab of my side-by-side. Do not use it in the cab while you are moving. Small enough to carry in a tote with you, so, if you do get cold, you can always stop and warm up. Perfect for my applications.

This is used in our little tent when waiting in line for bourbon so it's perfect. If you live in Ohio, you get what I mean there (if you hunt for bourbon).

My company started tracking our idle time in our vans and getting pissy about more than an hour of idle time per week. When I'm waiting for something to do and have to sit in my van or the rain, I'll choose my van. I got this to heat my van on the cold days without idling the engine. It works pretty good unless it's below 30. It still does ok then but not as good. I just grab propane bottles out of our warehouse at work to fuel it. I wouldn't buy them myself to keep warm at work. I'd say I use about one bottle per week, more if I have no work for the week, less if I stay pretty busy. Glad I got this thing, wish my company (a very large National company) would just let us keep warm in the winter time and dry out with the vehicle heat after working in the rain but they have to try and provide an image to the public (at employee cost) I guess.
