The most cost effective base for making a realistic looking trap for a costume. The black shiny plastic can be made to look like brushed metal simply by brushing it with a dish scouring pad in one direction. I did that, then dirtied it up a bit with a black acrylic paint wash and used tiny amounts of metal powder paint on the edges. It looks like a real metal ghost trap, but weights almost nothing. Perfect for hanging off of your belt without weighing your costume down.

It's a beautiful replica of the the ghost trap but my son was pressing the buttons thinking it would make a sound. It would have been better if it made a sound or if the door trap actually opens.

This is the exact ghost trap I needed for my project!I mounted it in an RC car frame and didnt want one with functional opening trap doors; In case it rolls I didnt want the doors getting all banged up Great trap for the price and nice and hollow for mounting on an RC car
