Decent battery box, the only real short coming is the strap is not strong enough to use the top handle once a battery is in the box. It slips and requires the box to be carried by the bottom section with two hands.

I LOVE this battery box, its real nice to have a solid spot for your expensive battery. I did have a few issues though, I didn't like how the lid is secured by the buckle. I haven't capsized with it yet but I have no clue if the battery would actually stay in the box it for sure wouldn't be waterproof. Is it protected from rain? small splashes? Sure but I was picturing the box would be water tight.I also would love if these just came with a usb plug instead but that's easily swapped out.

I'm using a 12V Opitima (blue top) which is about the same measurements of a standard 12V deep cycle, or smaller. And due to the internal compartment of the top that hides the wires, causes it to stick up a bit. The strap it came with allows the entire case to be more secure, but not completely flush. The battery meter external connections are sweet features. I wouldn't be using either two of the 12V accessory ports, and concerned of extra corrosive parts in the future, especially in a saltwater environment. Maybe have a couple different options, with or without ports... And I'm super glad the 3 huge stickers came off easily for a clean, black case. It also came with strap mounts screws, not sure I need them but great to have in case I decide to.
