I guess I should have paid more attention to the details. I bought this with the intent that we could use it as an on-the-go activity for my toddler. But this thing is HUGE! The overall book itself is about twice as thick as it should be. Underneath the book and puzzle pieces are empty cardboard filler that MD uses to make a nice, presentable end product. Waste of space imo. I ended up ripping both the book and the puzzle piece holder off the binding to make this more portable. Still, it's a very cute set by MD!

My son likes this book he love the puzzle most of everything. The book is very good, strong durable, during my reading my son can complete the puzzle, this keep him on activity. worth the money

Melissa Doug make such nice and high quality toys. This is a fun item because it's a story book but it also has an interactive component. The little puzzle pieces fit into different pages of the story. The pieces are nice and made of wood rather than plastic. It's fun and great for younger children. The pieces and the book are secured within the case, making it portable. The thing is, however, that I thought they were supposed to come out, but once I realized they were glued down, I had to glue a little extra back down as I was trying to remove them from the case. It is super cute and my son loves it. We have a few different versions.
