Excellent string. I've been stringing my own rackets for 30 years and this is the best string of the dozens I've used. When I switched to this string I immediately noticed both increased power and control. There is almost zero string movement, so I do not see the same 34;notching34; wear common with most other strings, including synthetic gut. As a result I've yet to break this string, though I've restrung to gain more comfort with lighter tension. This is an extremely stiff string. With other strings I use 55 lbs on my Wilson N Code Tour idsize rackets. With the Alu Pro, I use 46 lbs, and it still feels firm. The knock on these strings is that they could transmit more shock to the elbow or shoulder, but I've had no problems at all in this regard. .
