works great for the giant hydraulic filter on the 4052, 4044, etc john deere tractors. easiest way to do it is to remove the left rear tire if possible. anyone worried about the handle, why are you? jam some pookie or super glue into the inside of the handle and slide it back on the tool if it's that big a deal. the handle isn't glued on from factory, so it will come off. anyway, i've used this multiple times now, works just as good as the next sized down one i have for the cummins isx oil filter. and yeah, both handles kinda come off. but that's no reason to give it 1 star.

I have used many type of oil filter wrenches, but this one has never let me down. It has grip in more than one location, handle is sturdy, never had an oil filter slip once. I definitely recommend it. Will definitely buy again, for home use.

This tool is for a very large sin on filter. The filter that I needed to remove is on a loader used (by previous owner) to load salt trucks. Filter was old and really stuck and corroded plus hard to get to. I needed to put a cheater on the handle of the wrench and felt sure that I was going to destroy the wrench. The tool survived my abuse and my machine appreciates the new filter.
