Lisle pulley puller worked as advertised with removing the power steering pump pulley. Put in on and removed the pulley easily. Putting the pulley back on with the tool didn't work for me. The Ford pump on my 2000 Ford F250 p.u. is original equipment and the threads in the power steering pump shaft were rusted and the tool wouldn't re-install the pulley. I had to use a ball peen hammer to drive the pulled back on and fortunately didn't damage the pump driving it on the shaft. The 22mm Ford re-install bolt had damaged threads and I emailed Lisle and they sent me a replacement re-install bolt.

Suspect internal threading The internal threading on the main Puller Body (4) is wavy and not a clean crisp cut. The puller worked well the first time with copious amounts of oil - but I doubt if the thread will last. Threading on Puller Screw (9) excellent quality but I was forewarned to first lightly wire brush the thread before use to remove the black oxide coating. Not residing in the USA will make warranty replacement not feasible ! The Puller Screw and the Installing Adapter (5/6) combination has a 1.5mm run-out , resulting in a uneven force when installing the pulley. Carl

it does the job but the little handle used to remove the pulley is pretty uncomfortable to hold while using the tool

This company makes very good products. They do need to learn how to write instructions and make pertinent videos so you can use the product. I struggled with both learning how to pull a simple steering pulley.

well made the puller may not fit on some deep pulleys such as the ford powerstroke vacuum pump. you cant get the handle on easy fix is to buy 2 8x1.0 metric screws to hold it together and then use a wrench on it to keep it from turning .

This tool kit (Lisle 39000 Pulley Puller) worked perfectly! Removed and installed the power steering pump pulley on my 2dr 1997 Tahoe with the 5.7 liter engine. Make sure to keep the tool properly oiled and you shouldn't have a problem. I oiled mine before using it for pulley removal, and again before pulley installation. Didn't see any thread wear after the job was completed either, so at least it'll be able to be used again in the future. I looked at a LOT of pullers on line before settling on this one. Glad I did, it was worth the price!
