did not work for me. (1) does NOT work for 3 groove keepers does NOT work on 2 spring heads (2) springs are under enormous pressure and i can see how they may work for removal,,,but Never reinstall....(3) main reason is springs are under enormous pressure you think you can press down and place keepers in place....NO. you need a spring compressor c clamp. do not recommend only recommend if you have a single groove keeper, and springs are easy to compress...maybe lawnmover?

Major bummer. Even though it states 4.5mm valve stem compatible, the outside diameter of the tool is just a bit too large to fit on the exhaust side of most 4 cyl/16 valve motorcycle engines. Missed my return window by a couple weeks. =( I'm sure it works great on larger heads but won't do me any good.

Using on a 07 Chrysler engine and not having much luck. Springs are too thick and strong to properly compress far enough. Not big on quality. Already got gouges and marks on the top from requiring so much strength to press the springs down far enough to capture the keepers. TAP with a hammer if u want to u won't get far. Got two springs off but haven't been able to install the keepers back using this tool. On to another tool.

This was supposed to be new but when it came in I almost didn't recognize it. It is so banged up and obviously used. I am pissed.

Removal was good but the installation on a SAAB with 5 mm stems di not work well. For this application I do not recommend the tool. Sad part is that when you have come far enough to find out the vehicle is out of commission. I had to invent another tool o get the car back on the road.

Useless tool. I don't know for what kind of engines this tool was designed - lawnmowers maybe - but it can't compress valve springs enough before bottoming-out to expose enough sufficient valve stem length to install anything other than a micro-sized keeper.

This needs to go back. Directions suck so I ended up removing keepers with a socket and strong magnet. As for installing, I doubt this is a newbie issue, took me about an hour to manually get 2 exhaust done because the tool couldn't, got at least 2 hours into trying to get 2 intake done. Of course that leaves 12 more to go. Looks like the zip tie trick is next. I would imagine that this could potentially work better when the head is off the car, but that is not a solution I'm looking for. Toyota 5SFE.
