I was part way through running some plumbing vent pipe through multiple studs when my other 2 1/4" saw got too dull to continue. It is fairly old now. Popped this one on and got back to work. Only it has fairly fine teeth, and they would be great on a finished wood countertop where you don't a ragged edge to you cut, but in doing rough-out work I'd much prefer a hole saw with more aggressive teeth. I did finish up what needed to get done that day, but it was a lot harder work than was necessary.. And with about 15 more holes to drill I think I might look for something else, or use one of my larger hole saws and shoot some foam insulation in to hold the pipe in place.
