I'm using this for margarine sticks. i just put the margarine stick in it, pull it out of the fridge and can choose the amount i want in the pan and in one second-just plop it in! Its amazing.

If you are an avid baker or like cooking with butter, this is a great tool. You can cut butter portions by tsp or tbsp. It's easy to use and cuts neat chunks. My only warning - it is a bit fragile when dropped.

I accidentally dropped mine after years of use and it broke. Couldn't wait to replace it. It is so convenient to use, even for baking, as you don't need to use additional measuring tools.

The measurements are incorrect. A tablespoon is not a tablespoon. What's the point if you can't measure out what you are cutting?

We use this to cut very thin slices of butter to wrap around medication for the dog. It works well! No longer need to use up so many butter knives in a day. It fits in the butter compartment
