I was thrilled when i got these and everything ligned up perfectly to replace a broken slider in an older file cabinet.

It's the identical size and spec. so no need to drill new holes. Comes with the small flat screws. super!

I read all the comments but was still a little worried because the picture of the slide is slightly different than my slide. It fits absolutely perfect; I'm going to order a couple more just to put back because I have 3 other drawers and as others have stated this replacement track is for a much older cabinet. VERY HAPPY

I had to replace old drawer slides that were installed in 1971, as the bearings blew out of the old wheels. There was no way I could use the new style slides, as that would have required a major rework of the whole cabinet. I noticed the K-V stamp on the original slide and rail, measured the old one and decided to purchase this item, as it looked very similar to the old one. It arrived and I had the large drawer reinstalled in a matter of minutes. The metal seems a smaller gauge than the original, but it works great, very smooth under a heavy load of cookware. I just added a few more screws on each rail and slide. I too was so lucky!
