For a more stable way to keep cigarette butts away from the eyes of the public, the Heavy Duty Cigarette Butt Can in Safety Red (model 26811R) is a slim stylized outdoor ashtray that can suit any establishment. It is perfect for factory floors, backdoor entrances, or repair shops. This ashtray is ADA compliant, measuring at 38.5 in (980mm) tall and 11.5 in (292 mm) in base diameter.
Its neck and base are made of a fire-safe galvanized steel, finished with a coat of red-colored tough powder paint to give it resistance against rust. The head topper, made with flame-retardant polyethylene, keeps rain out and discourages other waste while giving a clear opening for cigarette litter. Its innovative self-extinguishing design helps reduce the risk of fire to your establishment and offers maximum convenience to you and your visitors.
The double-drip interior of this ashtray will stop tar condensation from reaching the outside, saving you extra cleaning. The long neck cavity minimizes clogging so butts can reach the base with ease, and with its ability to hold up to 5 gal (19 l) of butts, it’s amazing that it can still fit into tight spaces thanks to its compact design.
Model 26811R is designed to be easy to maintain, with a simple three step assembly process. To open, simply untwist the compression nut where the neck meets the base. There are no tools required and no separate attachments to worry about.

bought 3 for my business and after i unpackaged them and set them out the stems off the base are loose and wobbly , very poorly made

This works well for outside our front door of a retail business. The heavy base keeps it in one spot and doesn't get knocked over. Most importantly doesn't need sand or water in it so it's easy to clean.Just with the top was also metal since people like to put out their cigs on the top and it has burn marks on it now. But overall would definitely recommend

Having trouble putting the top on???I had a little trouble getting the plastic top on the metal base. It began to crack a tiny bit so I stopped and contacted customer service. I got a replacement top in only two days. It's cold where I live so I left the metal base outside (to contract) and heated the plastic top with a hairdryer (to expand and soften a bit) then I quickly put a towel over the plastic top to protect against the rubber mallet as I tapped it on. It went on effortlessly.The customer service was great!
