I bought a knock off brand that didn't last long or work well. I decided to buy the official product. I Installed it today, and the difference is night and day with movement and climbing walls.

We named our MX6 "Brandon" since it is slow, spends a lot time going in circles looking lost, gets stuck, and sometimes needs a push. But when it decided not to move at all, it was time for some new parts. Replaced the engine, the tracks, and the bottom scrubby/spinny bit. All parts fit and way cheaper than buying a new cleaner.

This part fit the MX8 Elite perfectly! It was very easy to install. You unscrew the top holder and simply set this in place. Then screw the cover back on. Of course you have to insert the gear shafts on both sides first before you install this. My cleaner is working like new again!

Some rock and hairs destroyed one plastic propellor of the engine. This replacement got my vacuum working again. Easy to replace just a couple screws.

Very easy to install on existing machine. Just a couple of Phillips head screws and a little bit of time. Saved a good bit of money replacing parts instead of buying new. Happy with it

This part was the main cause of my pool sweeper , not working. This is the main park that saved me $230

When a new vacuum costs almost $800, and it quits working, 90 of the time, this little engine is all that is needed to fix it. My vacuum runs year round (salt water pool) and I've only had to replace this twice in twice in 4 years with a complete tune-up this year. Vacuum is cleaning again!

If your Zodiac MX8 is not climbing the walls like it used to, get one of these. It`s easy to install/youtube videos. Look at the two buckets in the ladder. To bad its programmed unwisely, It spends a lot of its time doing 360 deg.turns, what i call sit and spins. Wasting time when it could be moving along cleaning. They need to redesign the direction control device. I would have gotten something else if knew this.

I replaced most all internal plastic parts on my Vacuum, at a fraction of the cost of new. About $150 total to rebuild it like new. Better than spending $400 - $600 on new. Vacuum runs well again.
