Very good quality.Inside rubber gasket is slotted to fit inside channel.Outside gasket is composite to allow less friction in tightening.I used it to create a drain for an aluminum tank where none previously existed.Love the interior and exterior threading concept. Exterior is for hose fitting, interior is 1/2 FIP for a plug, valve, etc.Works great!

I used it for a pig waterer in a plastic barrel but the gasket is to thin and soft, it deforms easily and you cant get it water tight.

I tinker with more parts than one could ever imagine. I'm always on the search for the best of the best. I appreciate quality and thoughtfulness in design. These stainless fittings have both. The oring gasket is exclusive to rainpal. The shape and fit is absolutely beautiful. The rubber gasket does not exceed the diameter of the bulkhead fitting like others do. I nerd out over this stuff and this is the best money can buy. Stop your search and buy this.

Found these and they are nicely made out of stainless steel. I drilled the hole needed slightly larger than the threads so that when I tighten the Easter and nut there was a good seal. Using it on a water tank.

The barrels we bought were poorly designed and relied on the pipe threads to hold the faucet into the surface of the plastic. Obviously this only lasted a year to two. After numerous repair attempts I finally checked on line and found these. I cleaned one barrel and installed the adapter. So far it works great.

I'm still going to keep this for my project. The nut won't come off without pliers but once it's in place it won't need to be removed anyway.

I used these in a 55 gal food grade plastic drum for a water setup for hogs. I also found large washers i could put on the inside and out of the barrel to keep them from pulling through the barrel. Hogs can destroy just about anything and so far they haven't done any damage to these. I like how i can put a wrench on both sides for a tighter fit. The plastic ones i used before just shattered, leaked and honestly was a nightmare in the cold temp. I recommend these as they are battle tested and have saved me a ton of work and time.
