Decorative functionality at its finest. **Use & Care**Wash Ironwood products in warm, soapy water and thoroughly rinse with clean water. Do not soak. To dry, prop up off of counter to allow all surfaces to air dry evenly. Wood products should never be washed in the dishwasher.After drying, rejuvenate and protect the wood by rubbing it down with Ironwood Butcher Block Oil. Apply the oil liberally and allow it to soak in thoroughly before use. Regular application of our Butcher Block Oil will prevent cracking and preserve the rich natural colors of the wood.

I think Acacia wood is beautiful and this salt cellar is really attractive. The bowl part is larger than I expected and it holds a sufficient amount of salt. The lid is hinged and swivels easily. It is easy to use one-handed.<br /><br />You could really put any type of seasoning in it.

Quite beautiful and well constructed. Would recommend washing it before use, however - when we first received it, I wiped it down with some mineral oil and it would appear the stain is not quite sealed.
