Ironwood 28118 Large Rectangular Provencale Paddle Board, Acacia Wood

First things first: this is much larger than I expected. It's definitely a family or party-sized board!<br />Second, it's positively gorgeous. Really almost too pretty to use. It's certainly too nice to stuff in a cabinet or something when you're done, so plan to make good use of the leather strap it comes with and hang it up on display somewhere when not in use.<br />All that said, it's heavy and sturdy and an excellent centerpiece for a table or buffet and I highly recommend it!

LOVE this board! It is beautiful and a great serving piece. It is a great size which is a huge selling point for me. So many similar items are tiny which makes using them to cut cheese impossible. This is generously sized, and as many others have noted, cleans up well. It is really a beautiful piece and a lovely addition to my serving collection.

I love this board. it is so nice that i am able to hang it when not in use with my chef pans on the ceiling hanger. easy to use and easier to clean. very hard so you will not nick this board by pushing too hard on your knife.<br /><br />in addition because it is so nice looking it is easily used as a serving platter for dinners or parties. this in all honesty is the best cutting board i have ever owned

Although it is generously sized, it is relatively thin, so it is easy to store. Buy one for yourself and then buy one to give as a gift that will be much appreciated.

The Ironwood Gourmet Round Paddle Board is a thing of great beauty, that must be seen to be appreciated. The board can be used as a cheese board, or serving board for almost any item and can double as a carving board. As I already have five other carving boards, I would not think to consign this lovely piece to carving duties. Rather, it will proudly serve my guests cheese or bread at my next dinner party or large gathering. The tangerine orange handle is as distinctive as the gorgeous acacia wood that the board is made of. The handle is accented with a grommet for air drying after washing and easy display when not in use. Above all it must be stressed that the wood is unique and elegant, and as aesthetically pleasing as a serving board can be. The board has a generous amount of space and measures a full 14 ½ inches at its widest. I am very happy with this acquisition and it comes with the highest possible recommendation.

It’s beautiful and I've received several compliments on it and inquiries to where I got it. When I pulled it out for ladies night last weekend, it quickly became the focal point of the conversation.<br /><br />Overall, I am well pleased with this board and I would buy it again to gift a friend or a young couple getting married, or maybe someone just setting up their house or maybe someone who just loves to entertain and needs a beautiful board to serve cheese and light snacks on.<br /><br />I can’t say it enough, this board is beautiful! If I had any nitpicking to do at all, and it’s not a huge thing, is that I wish it had rubber grip stoppers on it so that it didn’t slide around on a smooth surface. Although heavy, it still slides a bit, but that’s to be expected with anything on a smooth surface. It’s definitely a winner! You wonMt be disappointed!
