90's Rheem Furnace Model RGDG-10NBRJR, OEM 7.534; X 5.7534; Furnace Control Board 34;62- 24084-8234; was smoked. Ordered replacement Control Module ICM288. Simple easy instructions included. ICM Module is same size as the OEM Module and same mounting holes 34;Sweet34;. ICM's Module wire connections are marked/labeled same has OEM Module. My older furnace needed the upgrade of an additional Remote Flame Sensor 34;62-24044-7134;. Both the Furnace Control Board and Remote Flame Sensor were easy installs. Furnace is up running with no issues.

Worked like a charm. Maybe a 15 minute install. There was a slight difference in terminal location from OEM board that it replaced but the terminals were clearly marked and not hard to figure out what wires went where. In my application, itt did require a new fire sensor but that was super simple to install too. Once I removed the old board, microscopic inspection revealed that the only problem with the old board were cracked solder joints on the Molex connectors after 24 years of service. A quick touch up and I now have a spare board. Still glad I bought the new one. The house was freezing.

I have 3 Ruud furnaces, all of which use these control boards. Over the past 2 years I've had to replace the control boards on 2 of them (after 20 years of service). This control board works perfectly in my Ruud furnace, and was easy to install. Sometimes things just look too good to be true, but this board is 34;the real deal34;, and I got what I consider the 34;deal of the year34; on this board. By not having to rely on a furnace repair person to come out and sell me a 34;factory approved replacement board at full retail34;, I saved a crap load of money. Thank you so much for offering such a high quality product at such a fantastic price! I am in no way affiliated with the seller, or manufacturer of this product, but feel compelled to let everyone know that this is really a great deal. It's going to take something really special to 34;wow34; me like this control board has. The schematic and installation instructions are in 34;ENGLISH34;, without the 34;grammatical errors34; so often found with cheap imported electronics. Used this to replace my old RHEEM board 62-24044-01. It was a a pretty simple change, just make you take a picture of your wires before you disconnect them all. I had a HVAC friend price a new board and it was $200.00 wholesale, so you can't beat the price!

Our furnace quit and I need a new control board now. The OEM was priced way to high and I found this replacement and a very fair price. I use to be a HVAC guy and I had no problem installing this. I did have to get the Flame sensor kit which also was just right and easy to install. Be sure to take several photos of your old board prior to removal and watch some of the Youtube videos prior to installation. If you are not experienced in understanding some wiring and functions of a control board I suggest hiring someone. My furnace now works better with this board than it did with the OEM board.

Worked just fine for my 25 year old Rheem furnace model RGDG-07EAMGR; but it should work on other models too. I had a Honeywell furnace control board inside that was burnt out in one corner. I did notice that a lot of these boards work the same way even though they are from different board manufacturers or go into different furnace brands. In my case, I also needed to buy a flame sensor kit since my furnace was pre-1994 and lacked that no-mandatory safety feature. That retrofit is also simple but back to this, here is what I would suggest. Take plenty of pictures of your existing wires/connections, possibly putting a black sharpie dot if you've got multiple wires of the same color (obviously do this before taking the pics!). Then simply plug them back on this board! Note that even if the new boards connectors aren't at the exact same position, they will still be marked - so the wire going into (example) 34;HEAT34; on your old board will still go into the connector marked 34;HEAT34; on the new board. You can also download the PDF of this board from the product page for reference. It's surprisingly easy!

This unit did not work so we are in the process of sending it back. It appears that they will just give us a refund rather than replace it. Probably best as this is the second one that has malfunctioned. We very mush appreciate the refund. Thank you for your professionalism :)

My more than 25 year old Rheem furnace gave out recently. The culprit was easy to spot - a burned out control board in the furnace that no longer allowed the blower fan to operate while the AC compressor was running. Of course, a direct replacement board isn't available anymore but a little searching miraculously turned up this ICM control board. A lot of nervous sweat and one hour later, the replacement board brought my furnace back to life and saved my bacon by allowing perfectly functioning AC just before a crazy heat wave. Pros: Very minimal cost, nearly direct plug-and-play replacement, quick install, saved untold hundreds $$$ in hiring a professional. Cons: Since I have such an old furnace, I may need to purchase a flame sensor to complete the repair for winter heating (which is why I mention 34;nearly direct34; replacement in the Pros section). But for now, the AC works perfectly in this heat wave and the flame sensor itself is a small fraction of the cost of the board. Bottom line: I can't believe I found a modern replacement control board for a quarter century old furnace all for a relatively low price with easy installation.

A power spike took out the original controller board. Didn't realize they manufacture replacements for old furnace. Drop in fit and works great. Just be aware you may need flame sensor kit (depends on your model of furnace). If you're freezing your butt off, buy all the necessary potential fixit parts - otherwise you will take 2 months to repair like I did. That's OK - I live in California where it's not that cold - but if you're in snowbelt, that isn't going to work for you.

I put it in the moment it arrived, it took about 30 or 40 minutes. All of the boards connections are clearly labeled so with some photo's I took of my old board (still installed) and all the connections it was easy to figure out where they needed to go on this new board. Everything works great (so far)! In case anyone is searching on their furnace model number this was a replacement board for my furnace model: RGRA-10EZAJS , Serial: DF5D707 xxxx. Note the serial number on your furnace is important if you are trying to find a matching board and do not have your old boards model number as the first 2 letters specify the type of board needed. The board model number that came out of my furnace was 62-24084-01.
