A shielded magnet structure allows the HiVi M5N to be incorporated easily into audio/video speaker applications. The driver may be used in a small closed box as a midrange unit in a three-way system, and good extension (50 Hz) in a vented enclosure guarantees great performance in a two-way two-driver or MTM configured system. Recommended crossover frequency region for a two-way system design is 2-5 kHz.

They audio quality is better than hoped for (I am somewhat of an audio purist, even past my tinnitus) Bass is deep without being 'boomy', treble is sharp and clear-----Outstanding Value!

I have not tried the blue tooth yet, but hooked it up to the television and was greatly surprised by the quality sound. Great deal deal for you money.

I wanted some Bluetooth speakers to put in the cabinet of a 1930 Zenith Tombstone radio. These worked perfectly for the application. The first problem, turned out to be no problem, the remote would not work through the cabinet, but with the speakers needing to be plugged in, I just plugged them into a on/off buss, problem solved! I can adjust the volume through the radio. Second problem also worked itself out. The Bluetooth would not connect, I tried elevating the speaker that connects via Bluetooth, and other things, finally, I simply turned the one speaker upside down, problem solved, connects every time, even with the Zenith turned 90 degrees to the satellite radio. I was worried about the sound, but I swear it is richer then the speakers outside the cabinets. I have already got a lot of compliments on the speakers and the old Zenith!

I bought to use in home office to play music and podcasts--Sounds better than I thought iPhone could, possible better than the small Bose speakers I have--Setup took minutes and makes perfect sense.--Stays connected, connects easily to my bluetooth devices--Sounds great when listening at low level or blasting when no one else is home--Remote control, okay its a little big, like a TV remote but works perfectly and controls everything including volume, mute, equalizer setting and distinct trebble and bass controls.Pretty much checks all my boxes for what I wanted except sound is even better than the old speaker I had and loved for four years.

Love them, exactly what I was looking for. I needed some new speakers for my montior to replace what i had cause the others sucked. These have a strong clear sound and easy set up the cords are pretty long so I was able to spread them out a bit as well.
