I received the package opened it up and discovered it was not manufactured by Hayward. It said it was compatible with Hayward.

Works like it should. I've tried off brand boards in an attempt to save $$, but none worked as well. Finally bit the bullet and shelled out the $$ and bought the named brand. It ticks me off the Hayward bds cost so much more than the "OMEs", but there's something about them that's different from the knock offs that makes them better in the long run.

easy to use and cleans those stains easily! Would recommend for marcite, gunnite, or other concrete pool surfaces

The only thing about this is that it is preset and I had to get someone out that could set it the way I needed it. I could have done it all if I knew the manufacturer preset was too low. So I had to pay for someone to come out and figure this out for me. Frustrating

Exact replacement for my salt generator. If you own a salt water pool, then you know how easy they are to maintain. But, when something goes wrong, look to Hayward for the answer.

Easy to install,, you need to save the plastic pieces the display mounts to amp; the board to the box. It took less tha 20 minutes to install, worked right away.

I had the original Hayward board 15 years old. It would only run T-15s. Now I can use any T cell. Super easy to install.

Pool wasn't registering salt even though I was within recommended levels (per strip test and Leslie's). Replaced flow sensor (wire was beginning to fray) and soldered on my 2nd thermistor replacement. Neither fixed the problem. Cleaned and tested salt cell at Leslie's. All good. Ordered PCB board next. Mine was original (2006) so this is an updated version. Board had Hayward on it and came with Hayward paperwork so looked legit. Easy to replace (I was already familiar with removing board from previous replacement of thermistor)...watch You Tube. Salt reading was immediate and now cell is producing chlorine. Yay!

First, this is an OEM replacement for a Hayward Salt system. Be sure to take the plastic mounting grommets off of the old one as the replacement board does not come with them.Lastly, be ready to replace the Thermistor every year or two. Original board lasted 10 years (but required 6 repairs). I was unable to repair it the 7th time.You'll need a soldering iron that is at least 750watts to melt the solder long enough to replace the thermistor without rage quiting on the repair itself.
