This formula gives birds all the nutrients they need after being weaned. It helps with healthy oil secretions so the black spots for your pet store bird go away over time. Avoid those colored pellets and keep your bird happy and healthy with this brand.

Inherited a junk food addicted, feather plucking, slightly under weight 30 y/o Congo African Grey from a family member earlier this year. For the last 5 years he's been on a diet of seed, potato chips and snack cakes due to his caretaker's declining health making it too hard to feed the bird properly. Prior to that he got a very healthy diet of veggies and fruit. He used to eat everything and loved it.Now he is extremely picky and I had a hard time finding healthy things that he would eat. These were recommended by other exotic bird owners and I was wary of trying them because the bird didn't seem to be a fan of pellets at all. But I don't regret trying it and had nothing to worry about. My bird immediately devoured these. Whatever is in them, he's a huge fan.I mix them with a veggie puree so that he's getting all the nutrients he needs. His feathers are growing back in and he's happier, more talkative and a lot more active. I'm sure this food is contributing to his improved health, along with sunlight, attention, and toys to destroy.Long story short, my bird is crazy about this food.

This helps my rescue Cockatoo's anxiety. It also helps with growing his feathers back. He was abused in 2 different homes. Before I adopted him and he got his forever home. Recommended by my Certified Avain Vet.

I want to say- I have only had this bag for 3 hours. I looked at the back of the bag and set up my birds breakfast bowl; (a mixture of her old pellets and her new ones). As I was doing that I gave my Blue And gold macaw one pellet of the new Harrison's. One was enough for her to fully admire the taste, because when I gave her breakfast bowl. she picked out all her old food and proceeded to Throw it to the bottom of her cage while devouring the Harrison's. Currently she is begging me for more and I have never seen her eat a product that made her go this crazy. I don't know what magical parrot drug was in this food but it's amazing.
