i have this one hammer that would always 34;pop the spring34;. It was so annoying that I bought this specifically to avoid that happening - because big nasty's spring is a pain to keep manipulating. if you want a quick-change for a .498, this is pretty much your only good. which is fine because it works perfectly.

Recently purchased this item . I love that its a quick release but problem to me is that its a bit bigger so doesnt fit in some areas . Had to remove it to replace hub bearing due to fitment issues . But other then that great item

I'm not sure how much I can say about this but it does exactly what it says. It's a sturdy piece with a strong spring and a solid retention mechanism. Just bear in mind you really need to crank on the set screws so it stays put, vibrations to a good job of loosening things
