This set of six String Saver Originals is a perfect upgrade or replacement set of saddles for a Strat or Tele-style guitar. They have a center intonation screw and a 2-~frac{1}{16}~" string spacing. Included with the set is an extra set of slightly longer intonation screws to be used with a Telecaster along with a hex key to adjust the saddle heights.
String Saver saddles are made with a unique combination of materials made to enhance tone and dramatically reduce string breakage. Each saddle has the String Saver which is impregnated with PTFE, the slipperiest substance on earth.
The PTFE in String Savers eases the grip between the saddle and string, spreading the stress over a greater portion of the string, just enough to drastically reduce string breakage.
Graphtech's patented String Saver Originals are made entirely of String Saver material and provide a very balanced tone across the spectrum. People who were breaking one or two strings a night have contacted Graphtech after using String Savers and are amazed that they go weeks and months without breaking a string!
