heavy duty better than the cheap things you get at work and will hold up to repeated use so whomever you make these for or sell them to will get good use out of the product.

I'm bought these when our company changed to badges that would let us in locked doors. Since I use it all the time I needed one that would stay clipped to my shirt and wouldn't fall off. Hasn't broken off and works great! Long enough to reach the readers.

I tend to snag my word ID on things & break these so I bought a bunch. They're a pain to find in stores anywhere. Clips easily onto jean loop & holds an ID in a holder.

Economical retractable lanyards. I'm sure they have paid for themselves by preventing me from losing my GPS, phone, etc while out in the woods.

Can't beat these for the price. They typically last me about 6 months before the line starts to wear. I haven't had one break and lose my cards yet; I just replace them with the next one in the bag once the line has started to wear out. So far so good.

I bought these last December (2012). My friend and I each use them at work every day and neither of our badge reels have broken. They are still fully retractable. I consider this a good purchase because I don't have to bend over every time I want to swipe my badge.

I work at a building that requires you to have a visual name badge at all times and the badge also gives you access to the building.Instead of always wearing a lanyard around my neck that got in the way I chose these which also look a lot more professional than a lanyard. Keep in mind this is a 5-pack for $5 so you're not buying some top notch badge reels. Constant playing around with them or fulling extending them and letting go will of course snap the wire. The 5 pack allows you to either have extras for yourself or a few extra to give to co-workers as I have done.-Great variety of colors.-Professional looking.-Can hold a good amount of weight (My badge, Badge Holder, 3 laminated cards, pen)-The clip is almost like a money clip easily clipping to your jeans or pants pocket.-The reel extends a good range (My pocket to above my chest)Highly Recommended

I ordered a bunch of these for our teachers. They work real well for our ID cards. They hook onto a belt loop easily and are secure.

Thanks very much for having this in stock. We are required to wear name badges and card keys, so this is very handy when hands are full and need to get into the building. Nice not to lose my badge and card key by keeping them on this reel. Speedy delivery is truly appreciated.

The clips on these are pretty strong and I haven't had any bunching or fraying issues. Plastic loop seems to be strong and well-enforced I use these lightly, about 3-4 times per day, so I can't attest to heavier use.

the only issue i had with this product is the metal clip in the back is very stiff. You have to be careful not to break the plastic but i'm sure with normal wear it will become easier to put on and off.

This is basic and solid - just what I was looking for. I like to wear my work badge at my hip so I can scan without removing it (nothing like leaving it behind on a desk in a secured room). My company only provided a cheap shoelace type lanyard that irritated my skin. I decided to buy my own, and this fits the bill perfectly. I also added a few keys to it and it seems to handle the added weight with no issues.

If you like to make badges into creative pieces of art, this product is for you. My wife uses this product to fashion badges into a wonder piece of jewelry by gluing fake jewelry on to the badge which makes very colorful.

The clip is strong and stays in place which is all I was looking for. The string is also looks stronger and thicker than my last badge, so I am hoping this will mean it will last longer. Thats what you are loking for in this type item is a clip with good tension and a string that won't wear out in a year.
