Nice costume for limited use. It is not real rugged, but I didn't expect that. Seems to be good quality for a costume. Does not come with a hat as pictured.

We needed a costume for Colonial Day field trip and with less than a week to get that organized - this saved the day. I read the reviews that it was cheap and thin....well it's a $20 costume so not sure why you would expect something of high quality for that price. If you're looking for something to do the trick and not break the bank then is this is perfect. The material is polyester - the apron and bonnet are thinner but it fit perfectly and looked great! The medium was a perfect fit for my 9yr old who is on the small side - she wears a 7/8 and she has room for growth so I would say it would fit an average 9-11yr old well. For the price, this exceeded my expectations especially since there were so many reviews on the quality....perhaps I was bracing for something awful - but I thought it was a great little costume and well worth the $20.

I ordered this for my daughter for pioneer days at school. I over nighted it and got it the next day. The only problem I had with it is it was saposed to come with an apron but there was no apron in it. A little upsetting but she had to use it because not time to return it or get the apron.

Worked for colonial day but to change it up I added little fabric flowers and ribbon bows to the sleeves and mop hat. Thin material like Halloween costume quality. Wrinkles came out after washing and hang drying. I used an iron on low setting too.

My daughter loves this for Colonial day at school. It fit perfectly and held together through an active school day.
